Online pet magazine.Almost everything you need to know about pet care.NEW ‘Lost Pet Poster’ Facility From Alert4Alert4Pets is the first interactive service producing Lost Pet Posters instantly via a home PC. The personalised A4 sized poster, which is created at the click of the mouse, contains a picture of the lost pet, description, when and where last seen, distinguishing features and contact details. The instant Lost Pet Poster is just one feature of the Alert4Pets service created to identify dogs and cats, spread the word when they are lost and return them to their owners as soon as possible. Pets’ details are fed into the system in advance, so should a pet become lost, all the information is ready to produce the poster quickly. Alert4Pets is a low cost ID/recovery service that every responsible and caring pet owner would be crazy not to make use of!
Each pet registered for the Alert4Pets service wears an Alert4Pets Tag containing a nine digit identification code which is unique to that particular pet. The servicemakes use ofthe best tagging technology available for its wrap-a-round tag. The tag is applied like a plaster round a finger to any design or size of collar or harness. The special transparent layer around the tag forms a protective barrier against damage, moisture and dirt. Using an Activation Key supplied with each Alert4Pets Tag, the pet is registered on the system using the company’s website www.alert4pets.com .
The Alert4Pets Tag, which is essential to use the system, is purchased for just £2.75. Once a pet has its tag, registration on the Alert4Pets website is easy. Two services are available, the ‘Standard ID Tag Service’ which is free of charge for the life of the pet, gives anybody who finds a pet the chance to send messages directly and instantly to the owner explaining where the pet has been found.
The second service, ‘Super Alert Service’ is available for just £7.99 per year (or 22.49 for a pet’s lifetime). This service allows the owner of a lost pet to log onto the Alert4Pets website and presses the ‘Lost a Pet’ Button. If this happens, immediately a Broadcast Lost Pet Alert is triggered and sent by email to council Dog Wardens (a requirement by law when a dog is missing), Animal Shelters and other registered pet owners in the area. The alert is personalised with a poster and other helpful information needed to identify the pet. A FREE 30-day trial of the ‘Super Alert Service’ is available to all registered tag owners.
The NEW Alert4Pets Tag is available through pet stores, other specialist outlets and the company’s website www.alert4pets.com . The tag is sold on a display card which includes full user instructions. Further information can be found on-line at www.alert4pets.com .
