Amphibian - Feeding

Amphibians eat small fish, fry, insects, small vertebrates and earthworms. All are readily purchased from fishing tackle shops in the bait section or from specialist pet shops; the insects and earthworms can be mail-ordered.

Crickets need to be housed in an extra aquarium. You can toss a few into each amphibian’s cage as needed. Mealworms come packaged in a plastic container with a snap-on lid and can be kept in the fridge.
